Plans of the German Federal Government to reduce feed-in tariffs for solar power

According to the latest plans of the German Federal Government feed-in tariffs for solar power will be reduced significantly within the months to follow. The Federal Minister for the Environment Dr Norbert Röttgen justifies this decision by explaining that solar power has become so successful meanwhile that it is no longer in need of subsidies to the present extent.
